Who we are
Springs of Hope Children’s Home is a family run charity with a vision to aid orphaned, homeless, disadvantaged children in Maralal. Springs of Hope was established in 2006 by a local Kikiku woman who is also the mother of 3 young girls, Grace N Kiboi. Our goal is to provide physical, educational, emotional and spiritual care for our children in a loving Christian home environment so that each one will become responsible, productive citizens of Kenya and the world. Grace’s Involvement
Grace was becoming more and more disturbed by the growing number of children who were abandoned and living on the streets of this small hillside market town in Northern Kenya. Many are the innnocient victims of Kenya’s growing HIV/AIDS pandemic. Grace works 7 days a week to help fund the orphanage. Each day she walks kilometres to and from the orphanage, ensuring all is well, and overseeing the children. More on Grace Kiboi |

Jennifer’s involvement
Jennifer Hughes-Bystrom is a Rotarian, enjoying dual citizenship in Australia and America. Soon after the orphanage was opened Jennifer heard about the remarkable work Grace was doing through an Australian missionary couple living in Kenya..After spending two months living with the children at Springs of Hope it became apparent to Jennifer that the only way this orphanage was going to survive was with the aid of the international community. Jennifer is building awareness of the orphanage worldwide. Jennifer is an established speaker at functions and events. However, the best part of Jennifer’s involvement with the orphanage is returning to Maralal as often as possible to see the children prosper and grow.

Your involvement
These children were homeless. Most of them are affected by Kenya’s growing HIV/AIDS pandemic. These children have lost both parents and their right to an education. Without people like Grace, Jennifer and yourself these children will miss out on the life and the future that every one of God’s children deserves. Find out how you can help or consider donating.
